Aurora’s own Divine Resonance crafts lyrically driven, high energy, alt-rock songs that are sure to connect with you no matter the stage of life you’re in. Their influences are Switchfoot, Needtobreathe, Ben Rector, U2, Tom Petty, Jars of Clay, The Fray, and Wilder Woods. In 2019, the band released their first album, “Beyond the Breach”, recorded exclusively during late nights in empty classrooms on the campus of Trinity International University. However, for their recent EP “Wild Rivers”, the guys were able to work at the incredible studio founded by rock legend Steve Albini, Electrical Audio in Chicago.

Divine Resonance is a rock band with members in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin, established in 2017. The band is comprised of Jake O’Marrah, (vocals), Billy Hart (drums), Gabe Douglas (keys), James Markham (bass), and Dan Leffingwell (guitar). Together, the band has played various shows across Illinois and Wisconsin including opening for Elias Dummer, playing LifeFest in Oshkosh WI, winning Battle of the Bands and headlining the main stage at StreetFest.

The band gives an “…electrifying performance” with “…undeniable talent…” Their songs are full of thought-provoking lyrics and powerful instrumentals that will be sure to get stuck in your head.
