Join us! CAPE is seeking multidisciplinary teaching artists to join our team in the town of West Chicago, IL.
We are looking for passionate artists who love creating, teaching, and inspiring through their unique artistic vision.
We are hiring teaching artists for afterschool programs in the suburban, West Chicago, IL. for district 33 elementary schools.
In this program, artists will work in partnership with curriculum advisors and will co-design, document, and team teach an original arts integration curriculum for students ranging from kinder - 5th grade. West suburban area artists we are looking for you. We are looking for creative professionals in a range of disciplines including: dance, theater, culinary, film, visual art, sculpture, music, fiber, creative writing and more.
Compensation: $50 - 55/ hour for instruction & planning.
*Positions include paid Professional Development educational sessions throughout the school year, and paid curriculum planning hours.
Status: Independent Contractor position with regular late afternoon teaching hours.
