Join us in celebrating the artistry of Mukul Roy who documented the lives of early Indian Americans
Mukul Roy (1931-2023) an Indian American photojournalist, has created a stunning visual record of the lives of first generation Indian Americans, featured in the current exhibition. She also documented the early years of Chicago’s Devon Street, a hub for Indian American stores and restaurants.
The exhibit runs through May 2027 and is available by appointment only. Please email info@niam.org to set up a time.
