A play written by Jen Silverman, directed by Mike Boyna and produced by Kevin Taylor.
Witch draws inspiration from the 1621 play The Witch of Edmonton, based on the real-life execution of suspected witch Elizabeth Sawyer. In Jen Silverman’s darkly comic, updated subversive fable, a charming devil arrives in a quiet village to bargain for the souls of its residents in exchange for their darkest wishes. How much are our souls worth when hope is hard to come by? Choose wisely. Devilish salesman Scratch has a quota, after all.
