West Suburban Symphony

The West Suburban Symphony Society supports an orchestra and a chorus as volunteer community groups. Founded in 1947, our mission is three-fold:  To delight audiences in the western suburbs of Chicago by offering enjoyable and affordable musical programs; to inspire, educate, and foster the musical talent of young people; and to enrich the musical lives of our players and singers and the communities where we perform. We perform primarily in Hinsdale, Naperville, Oak Brook, and Wheaton, under the artistic leadership of Maestro Peter Lipari.  Our outreach to young people includes an annual school-day concert for elementary and middle school students and an annual solo competition for high school musicians.
