Schingoethe Center
As the Fox Valley region’s only art museum, the Schingoethe Center of Aurora University hosts American art exhibitions. This Smithsonian-affiliated museum is also known for its permanent collection of traditional and contemporary Native American art containing more than 4,000 works. New temporary exhibitions open in January and September, while a permanent exhibition of Native American art is always on view. Located on the corner of Prairie Street and South Gladstone Avenue. Guided tours available on request.
